Probably the last thing you need to read in 80 degree weather is a definitive list of all the sticky, heavy makeup you “need” to add to your collection… the mere THOUGHT of all those heavy layers is enough to make me shudder right now — but guess what? You can still rock a flawless face in the hot heat without having to worry about feeling trapped layers of makeup that, let’s be honest, you don’t even need in the first place, girl! So here are my current makeup favorites right now:
Starting off with a very light base. Bonus: it contains SPF!
I use this very minimally; only for my undereyes.
I might have already talked about this awesome product in a previous post, but if it ain’t broke…
The latest addition to my collection. It’s hands down, THE BEST powder finishing product on the market. No competition. Nada.
I used to use Anastasia Brow pomade, but I prefer the feel and finish of this Tarte product a lot more. It looks more natural.
I’m not a makeup expert by any means, nor am I one of those girls who will do makeup tutorials on YouTube, so I don’t have the magic touch to create blended art on my eyelids. A simple swipe of rose gold eyeshadow does the trick for me, thank you!
It’s affordable, it’s intensely black, and the brush is super precise. I don’t look any further for liquid eyeliners these days.
If you’re a Sephora Insider, you probably got this lipstick on your birthday for free! It’s awesome, moisturizing and goes on a lot lighter than most MAC lipsticks. So this is a summer “yes” in my book!
I never thought I’d venture away from Benefit They’re Real, but alas, here we are.
