I feel like I’ve been slacking on the outfit posts lately, but I promise I’m getting right back on it! These past couple of weeks have been a little crazy on my end: I started a new job (yay!), been working on some side projects, did a little bit of traveling… and I’m still in the process of planning my 2015 travel & blogging plans which I’m REALLY excited about, so I can’t wait for everything to unfold!

I’ve been on a bit of a hat kick, and I’m about to get super personal with y’all: it’s SUPER hard for this girl to find a hat that fits! Maybe it’s my big hair, or maybe just my big *ahem* brains, but I always find that hats always fit my head too tightly, and it makes me really sad because I’m obsessed with hats!!! This one from Reiss that I nabbed a couple weeks ago is the result of months of intense research and review-reading, and I could not be happier with the end result! I love the color, and more importantly, I LOVE the fit. So don’t judge me if you find me wearing it through the rest of the season!

Speaking on the rest of the outfit, this is what I wore to Chicago last week… I did the most YOLO* thing I’ve ever done, and booked an overnight trip to Chi-town to catch Stromae’s Racine Carée tour with one of my best friends, and it was seriously the most fun I’ve had in a while, dancing my heart out on a work night! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll especially know that the trip totally turned out to be 100% worth it too 😉 So here’s to living a little, and making the most of a monotonous work week!!!

*that is the first and last time you will ever see me use that word, I promise, haha!
