Happy first of the month! My monthly obsessions tags are my favorite posts, because they’re kind of like my personal inspiration/pinterest boards (I do have my Pinterest account, but I’m just really bad at keeping it updated).  Unlike the posts I’ve done in the past featuring items that are out of my financial grasp (for the time being, haha), this month I’ve decided to feature one retailer I recently discovered online where I can shop and upgrade my wardrobe without breaking the bank: choies.com! They’re also on a pretty good sale all month long, so my hopes of adding these goodies to my wardrobe may become a reality sooner that I thought 😉 The link to the sale is at the bottom of this post.

(1) — Golden Reflector Sunglasses: I’m on a REALLY good streak with my sunglasses lately (fingers crossed). I used to always lose them or break them, but now I have two solid pairs (in brown and black) that I’ve kept really well… probably because I’m more conscious of the fact that I spent more money on them, but the point is, I’ve been really good so I think I may spoil myself with another fun pair 🙂 I think this pair of shades is very on-trend and not overly-expensive… it would be so fun to switch up the classic sunglasses look for something more funky like these! Love ’em.
(2) — “VOGUE” Beanie: Winter hats are always fun in the fall and winter, and I really like the simplicity of this one, although I fear it might look a little too pretentious. I think personal style should speak for itself, rather than having to wear slogans and logos that scream “wannabe fashionista” — I don’t know, am I just overthinking this? What do you guys think??
(3) — Retro Circles Bracelet: I just think this bracelet is really cool, and I love the look of mixed metals!
(4) —“Lovely Deer” Sweatshirt: Don’t even tell me for ONE second that this sweatshirt didn’t make you smile at least a little! I love funny tees and sweatshirts like this, and it’s ironic how you can style something so silly and still give it somewhat of an edge. The graphic extends to the back of the sweater, and it’s also available in orange, yellow and grey. Am I just being really silly for being so obsessed with this sweatshirt?? 🙂
(5) — Leather Wedge Knee Boots: these are styled after the infamous Givenchy style that’s been popular since last year… except at choies.com, they’re one-tenth the price of the originals! Usually, I’d be wary of buying dupes because lower prices can indicate inferior quality, but these are made with real leather, so I’m actually interested in giving these a go! They are available in black as well.
