Olive + Camel: A Color Combo Your Wardrobe Needs

coco's style6 years ago

I

It’s no secret that Fall colors are my favorite: olive green, deep burgundy, rich camels… I love it all. Even though it’s color, they’re all so muted that it almost feels like you’re stepping out in neutrals… which is definitely right up my alley, for someone like me who tends to veer away from loud colors in my wardrobe.

The best part about Fall’s color palette is that the colors all go SO well together! Remember this post from a couple years ago, where I paired camel with burgundy? Still one of my favorites from the archives.

If this olive green cardigan looks familiar, it’s definitely because it is… and I kind of love you for recognizing it, cause it means you’ve been reading this little blog here for a minute or two! It’s my favorite sweater right now, and you probably recognize it from one of my recent posts where I styled my favorite South Moon Under knits and denim. I love the over-sized fit, it’s SUPER soft… and clearly it can be dressed down with jeans, or dressed up with your favorite skirt and button-down shirt (the shirt is my mom’s by the way… I love pulling pieces from her wardrobe, and she always leaves a lot behind whenever she comes to visit from Nigeria)!

Speaking of dressing up, how perfect would this look be for your Thanksgiving dinner this year? I don’t always go for super preppy looks like this, but when the mood strikes, they are make for such an easy-to-wear look that’s great for work and semi-formal meetings and dinner events.

What are your favorite outfits featuring Fall’s top colors? Leave a link in the comments below, I would love to see your outfits!
