When Piperlime invited me to create a story for their Fall 2014 #momentsofchic campaign, I started thinking about what being “chic” means to me. Of course, getting all dressed up the nines for a glamorous event is always exciting, but most of us who live in reality, it’s the little every day moments that really make life count.  Life is what it is, and to be honest, between my 9 to 5 job on weekdays and being somewhat of a hermit on weekends, I try to make even the most mundane parts of my life exciting by appreciating the little things. To me, starting off with a cup of my favorite tea every morning creates the perfect “me” moment I need to start my day. What better way to live a life on the go, than in a comfortable, yet very put-together outfit? I absolutely love the fit of these jeans; they’re probably the softest denim I currently own, and the black tee with sheer crochet detail adds a very alluring element to what is otherwise a very simple get-up.
