Spring Denim Trends with DENIZEN® from Levi's®

coco's style7 years ago

Jeans and denim will forever be a wardrobe staple, but with so many lengths, washes and cuts to choose from, sometimes it can be really hard to find to find that perfect fit. One of the great things about denim though, is just how versatile it is – you can dress it up for a casual work day, opt for a distressed wide-leg pair for an on-the-go weekend look or pair it with your favorite dressy top for a night out on the town.

This year, I’m super excited to announce my partnership with DENIZEN® from Levi’s® to bring you a denim style guide for every season… and today we’re starting with Spring! The three daytime looks in this editorial were put together with my favorite DENIZEN® jeans in mind: the Modern Short, the Modern Cropped Flare jeans and the classic Modern Skinny jeans. I love how different the vibes of each of these outfits are, and really goes to show just how much your DENIZEN jeans can work like a chameleon in your closet: they will literally go with anything! You can find them at Target and Target.com. Alright, let’s do a quick rundown of how you can style each of these jeans this Spring:

Modern Shorts

When it comes to your warm weather wardrobe, denim shorts are a must-have — they look super cute with your favorite t-shirt, and even when the temperatures aren’t quite where you want them to be, they look great with a heavier cardigan or sweater too. I styled my Modern Shorts with this top that’s right on trend for Spring: blue stripes, floral embroidered details and a statement sleeve.

Modern Cropped Flare

The cropped flare is a newer fit that’s slowly but surely carving out its own place in our wardrobes. I remember the first time I saw cropped flare jeans, I thought fashion couldn’t have possibly come up with a more unflattering fit! But cropped flares have definitely grown on me, and I’ve discovered that just like any other denim cut, it’s ALL about finding a wash and fit that works for your own body.

I love my Modern Cropped Flare jeans because they’re super comfy, and most importantly, they’re the perfect length for a cropped jean. I styled my jeans with a lovely tropical print silk shirt that is definitely a nod to the resort collections that head down the runways around this time of the year.

Modern Skinny

When it comes to skinny jeans, there’s rarely ever a way that you can go wrong with them… which is why, sometimes, a classic t-shirt is all you need to do the trick. I got my Modern Skinny jeans in a long fit, which you guys know by now is super important to me because I’m 5’9″ and need all the extra length on my pants that I can get! Another thing that I love about my DENIZEN® jeans is that they all have a nice amount of stretch built into them, meaning that my skinny jeans mold to my body in a flattering way, without feeling too tight or constricting!

So that’s it for my Spring denim edit — stay tuned for my Summer post coming soon
