As a quick recap to the #BTSBash event I hosted with Simon Mall at Sugarloaf Mills a couple weeks ago (THANK YOU to everyone who came!), I’m recapping the three top Fall Trends to watch for over the next few months… especially with Back-To-School style on the brain and Fashion Week around the corner!

#1 — 90’s Nostalgia

You guys probably already know this, but the 90’s have made a major comeback on the street style scene — so if you haven’t already, it’s time to dig up your long-forgotten favorite fashion favorites from grade school and breathe new life into them with a 2016 update! Think rock-inspired plaids and flannels, high-rise jeans, overalls, denim-on-denim and combat boots.

#2 — Off Beat

A lot of the fashion pieces that have made a big splash all over social media are coming from left field (whoever would’ve thought that DHL t-shirts would be the big thing everyone was clamoring over… despite a $300 price tag?). Cheeky slogans, bold graphic patterns and bright colors are turning up the volume on sweaters, souvenir jackets and sports gear… and I’m totally here for it! #3 — Modern Utility

Without fail, the turn of season from Summer to Fall every year means that olive and khaki greens become the new black. This year’s update on this popular color is accented with punky patches layered on delicate touches for the perfect mix of feminine edge.
