3 Things on my End-Of-Summer Checklist

And just like that, summer is starting to wind down and we’re already looking forward to Fall! I don’t know about you all, but I’m still ready to cling on to these last few weeks before the end of summer, and even though I have lots to look forward to with the turn of the season, there are still a couple things that I want to do before the leaves start turning brown… starting TODAY, with the solar eclipse that’ll be rolling through in just a few hours! Who else is going eclipse-sight-seeing? Tag me in your solar eclipse Instagram shots! In the meantime, here’s what I’ll be up to over the next few weeks:

Fashion month is just a few weeks away, and while I’m more excited than anything (doing BOTH New York and Paris this year!), I’m also incredibly under-prepared and a little off-target — in terms of my wardrobe planning and my fitness goals, yikes! As busy as I am, I haven’t had the time to manage my meal prep and gym sessions as much as I usually do, but over the next few weeks, I’m definitely going to be making my fitness routine more of a top priority… because nothing sucks more than being on the roads for several days, and feeling blah / under the weather.[/one_half][one_half_last padding="0 0 0 10px"]

As a blogger, one of the best parts of working with some of my favorite brands are the incredible products they send my way to try and share with you guys! The downside, however, is that it means that more often than not, my closet and makeup counter are kind of  overflowing with things that I haven’t worn or used in ages… or even ever! I’ll be cleaning out my wardrobe over the next few weeks to post some things to my online shop, as well as saving them for holiday giveaways… so make sure you’re subscribed, so that you’ll be the first one to hear when everything drops![/one_half_last]

Embarrassing revelation: I haven’t picked up ONE book this year. If you know me at all, you’ll know how weird that sounds, because growing up, I was always that kid who would rather be in bed with my favorite book than running around playing outside. Besides me missing out on one of my favorite past-times, I love that getting back into reading forces me to log off and tune the world out for an hour our two.

What’s on your reading list? I need some suggestions to get started! Right now, I’m eyeing How To Be A Person In The World by Heather Havrilesky, the author of the New York Magazine self-improvement column that I read religiously: Ask Polly.[/two_third][one_sixth_last] [/one_sixth_last][one_half padding="0 5px 0 0"]
