Autumn in San Francisco

F

Fall is officially here, and when I was in San Francisco last week, I was feeling it more than ever! I spent my first day in SF exploring Union Street and the gorgeous residential areas near the Marina before diving into the REAL reason I was there (more on that soon, stay tuned!)

Here are my top 3 favorite spots on Union Street in San Francisco… an added bonus is that they’re all literally within one block of each other, so you can do a mini foodie-hop!

Rose’s Café

One of the first places Jen, my photographer, pointed out to me was Rose’s Café — she told me it was one of the many Instagrammer favorites in San Francisco, and when we walked in, I could totally see why! Taking a lot of inspiration from the quintessential French café, Rose’s is the perfect place to enjoy a midday coffee or brunch on Sunday morning… especially if you’re lucky to grab one of the outdoor marble tables for that perfect Instagram-ready shot!  (2298 Union Street — Map it!)

Pacific Puffs

It’s no secret that I love dessert, but when it comes in an adorable mini puff pastry with THE MOST delectable cream filling… good lord. I’m seriously considering making annual pilgrimages to San Francisco just to visit Pacific Puffs. An absolute must for anyone visiting the city! (2201 Union Street — Map it!)

Wrecking Ball

What’s in my cup, you’re probably wondering…? WELL, let me tell you about the hot chocolate from Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters! This cup of rich, velvety amazingness is worth every single drop and calorie that it’s worth, and it made for the perfect companion that kept me warm while we shot these pictures — it gets pretty windy around there since we were so close to the water! (2271 Union Street — Map it!)

Of course last, but not least, honorable mention goes to all of the adorable flower shops that peppered the street all the way through… I mean seriously, San Francisco may have just moved up a couple spots on the list of cities I hope to live in one day. Anyone got an extra $5 million laying around to buy me one of the houses?
