New York City

A Week in New York with COS

Happy Monday! If you’re following me on Instagram, you probably already know that I spent a few days in New York last week for a press trip with fashion brand COS. The brand is known for its minimal style, inspired by graphics and design — so naturally, part of our trip included a 2hr ride upstate to check out the Dorothea Rockburne installation at Dia:Beacon museum.

We checked into one of my favorite NYC hotels, 11 Howard, on Wednesday… stopped by the COS store in SoHo to pick up some of my favorite pieces that I wore and styled throughout the week… and we were off! By the way, if you’re planning  a trip to New York, you NEED to book a session at Higher Dose! It’s an infrared sauna session, and it was one of the first things I did as soon as I arrived. Such a great way to get some alone time and decompress before a busy week.

On Thursday, we woke up super bright and early to head up to Dia:Beacon museum, where we toured a number of art collections that inspired the COS brand’s design aesthetic. There were lots of light installations, interactive designs and industrial pieces that made every corner of the gallery such an interesting place to visit! Lunch at Blue Hill Farm was, and I kid you not, THE BEST food I’ve eaten… ever, ever, ever. I found out afterwards that the restaurant was also known to be one of Barack Obama’s favorites… so much so that the chef, Dan Barber actually worked on the President’s Council for Nutrition. So yeah guys, this place is a definite must-visit if you’re in NYC anytime soon too! Even if you don’t make it upstate to Stone Barns, they have a restaurant location in the city that I’ve heard is equally as good.

On Friday, we went back to the COS store in SoHo to do a little bit more shopping and shooting some of our favorite pieces… our photographer, Bridget Fleming, was the sweetest and such a pleasure to work with! I’ve linked all the COS outfits that I wore below, so make sure you check them out… and give the website a little browse if you haven’t already. There are so many amazing pieces that work so well for workwear and weekendwear.

Thank you to COS for a great week spent in one of my favorite cities in the world, NYC 🙂 Can we do this all over again?
