As most of you know, and as I had been raving about for WEEKS prior, the Create & Cultivate conference made its stop in Atlanta and I finally got to go to my first one! I don’t usually do blogger conferences, because given the high tickets costs, I always want to make sure that I’m investing in events that I feel will really help me pick up tips and skills to grow — and let’s be honest, with all the clickbait out there, it can be hard to find information that is actually REALLY useful! Luckily, I really feel like my attendance at C&C was totally worth it; I had the opportunity to connect with brands I’ve had on my radar for years like Luisaviaroma, Amazon Fashion and Dove — and reconnect with brands I’ve worked with in the past, like Who What Wear.
To get ready for a full day of workshops, networking and panels and photoshoots, a lot of which took place outside under the Atlanta sunshine, I decided to keep things comfortable in my favorite jeans and the cutest striped top that I had picked up JUST the day before. For that extra layer of comfort under the heat (hello Indian Summer), I was so excited to partner with Dove for the event so of course I wore my Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant that goes on instantly dry with all the care of Dove. It kept me dry and protected all day long with just a simple shake, spray and go!
A couple weeks before the conference, I connected with Create & Cultivate’s editorial team and they ran a feature on me along with a number of other Atlanta-based creatives. I’ve shared it a number of times on Instagram as well as on my Press page, but you haven’t already, make sure you read it here.
I had such a great time connecting with other bloggers, small business owners, creatives from all over the country… and of course, sitting first row to hear some major influencers like Meghan Markle, Nicole Richie and Ayesha Curry talk about their experiences as businesswomen in today’s world. If you missed out on the conference, you can check out all the behind-the-scenes snaps.
