Remember what life was like before the weather took away your very last will to get outta bed in the morning? I know I’m hardly one to complain living here in the South and all, but I’ll be damned if I’m not over-prepared for the cold weather this year (that’s right, I was one of the unfortunate bozos stuck in traffic for over 12 hours in last year’s Atlanta ice storm).
As much as i would love to go into full hibernation mode and stay in bed until next March, that’s obviously just not an option… a girl’s gotta get up and make her money! So why not find a fun and stylish way to layer up before you head out this week? To my friends up north: I know you’re probably rolling your eyes at me right now; a fur vest’s got NOTHING on a northern winter – I would know, I’ve got a couple Chicago and Boston winters under my belt! Don’t worry guys, I’ll have y’all covered for pretty much the rest of the season… but let’s get real – textured coats and vests are all the rage right now, so you’ll probably still find one of these handy on a milder day!
Additional highlights of this get-up: those lace-up kitten heeled booties I’ve been dying to own… thanks to Mango, and the deepest lipstick shade I’ve ever dared to wear – it even matches my nail color (Essie “Berry Naughty“)… You like? Or is it kinda too goth/scary? Hopefully these fun photos lighten things up a little bit!
In other news… I just realized this is my 100th blog post – thanks for sticking with me guys!!! If you have any suggestions for future content you’d like to see from me, feel free to leave it in the comment section… I’m thinking about incorporating some video content to mix things up – any ideas for my first crack at a Millennielle video?
