If you guys need to know anything about me, it’s that I absolutely love getting out of town for a good weekend getaway! Having gone to college in Illinois, I still have a bunch of friends around the Chicago area, so I’m usually up there 2 or 3 times a year! When I was invited by the Freehand Chicago to stay with them for the weekend, I jumped at the opportunity to make another trip to one of my favorite cities in the USA, and share the staycation experience with my friends 🙂
The Freehand Chicago hotel is located right in the heart of River North, meaning that I was walking distance from some of my favorite places: shopping on Michigan Ave, Eataly, The Signature Room and so much more… not that I needed to venture too far anyway, because the in-house cafe and bar kept me happy all weekend! I also had the amazing opportunity to check out the penthouse at the hotel: a fully-furnished two-floor unit with a master bedroom AND 4-person bunked room, it’s the perfect place to host a small get-together or girls’ night in!
One of the things I missed out on doing this weekend was sharing it with you guys on Snapchat… I have to admit it: I’m still a little camera-shy, but I know that obviously you guys are interested in following me, because I get new followers every day!
