Happy first day of September! Crazy how quickly this year has been zipping by… I suppose it’s one of the things you begin to notice as you get older, but it’s still so weird cause I remember January 1st like it was just yesterday!
I was out celebrating the long weekend yesterday over cocktails and appetizers, and I got to thinking that I could really do with a couple more days off… vacation, anybody? My wanderlust is stirring! Anyway, I discovered my new favorite drink at Parker’s on Ponce — if you’re ever in the Decatur neighborhood, you should definitely try their Thai Coconut cocktail! Made with coconut water and limes, it’s light, fresh and not too sweet at all, which is exactly how I like my drinks 🙂
I have been eyeing this varsity-style sweater from NastyGal for the past few weeks now, and I finally made it mine a couple weeks ago. It’s such a simple piece, but the clean black and white lines seem to have the ability to dress up anything it goes with — even my favorite pair of rugged boyfriend jeans.
