Of all the fashion trends to make a comeback, who would have placed their bets on the polka dot? The retro pattern has been out of style for so long, that I honestly don’t recall having EVER worn polka dots ever… until this year. Lucky for us, these aren’t our grandma’s polka dots anymore — my favorite thing about modern street style is how even the most “old-fashioned” trends are taking on a modern twist, making them accessible to fashion lovers across all ages and generations.

Speaking of putting a 2018 twist on a retro style, is there any better way to do it than pairing my polka dots with casual jeans and dressed up heels?
