It’s not December 31st yet, but I have so much to look back on and be grateful for in 2017! One of the things that I prioritized for myself this year was building personal friendships and relationships here in Atlanta, and I think that it’s one of the best decisions I could have ever made. No matter how crazy life gets, there’s almost nothing that an evening out with the girls won’t solve, and I was really excited to partner with Stella Artois to throw my very first Friendsgiving dinner!
So what goes into the perfect Friendsgiving dinner? Starting with the decor, I partnered with Mary of Honey + Olive lettering to design my chalkboard for the perfect Instagrammable moment (isn’t she so talented?), picked up tablescape pieces from Williams Sonoma and World Market, a dinner for 10 from Whole Foods… and of course, topped everything off with the highlight of the night: apple cidre and beer from Stella Artois.
For me, Thanksgiving is always a great opportunity take some time to reflect the things that I’m most grateful for this year. Life is always full of ups and downs, but at the end of the day, when I look around to see how far I’ve come with my own personal development, health, family and relationships… I think it’s pretty hard for me to not say that I feel like a really lucky girl. I’ve made so many amazing connections this year, both personally and for my business, and I’m so excited to see what 2018 has in store!
If you’re reading this right now, do know that I’m extremely grateful for you too beyond what words can say! Without your support, Millennielle wouldn’t be where it is today, and that’s not something I take lightly at all. Your comments, messages and support mean everything and I value every single connection I’ve made along the way, whether online or in person… you guys are what have given me the drive to keep this here going, and I can only hope to continue creating content that you’ll love.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! xx
