Treehouse Glamping : A Photo Diary

Who remembers that episode of Sex and the City, when Aiden took Carrie out to his cabin in the woods and she was so out of her element that she got frightened by a squirrel? Like just about any other girl my age, I like drawing parallels between my life and Carrie’s, so a couple weekend ago, I rented an SUV, packed my bags and headed a couple hours up north with Glamping Hub, for a weekend cabin experience at Sugar Creek Treehouse.
My Sugar Creek Treehouse Experience
So what does a weekend off the grid look like? For starters, our location was perfect. Tucked way in Green Mountain, Sugar Creek Treehouse was easy to miss unless you know where you’re headed, so it was a great way to spend a quiet peaceful weekend. Since we were a bit away from pretty much everything, spent most of our weekend relaxing at home: cooking, sleeping in, hiking, and catching up with family over s’mores by the campfire. The home is fully furnished in such a cozy, rustic way, with 2 queen beds, an balcony running around the entire house, a fire pit, hammock by the water and more!
Our host, Jenna, was just the sweetest!! In true city girl fashion, we got my SUV stuck in a rut on the way up to the cabin, thanks to the rain that we encountered on the way… and she was so nice to send someone out to dig us out first thing the following morning so that we didn’t have to worry about calling a towing company!
