TOMMYxZENDAYA: The PFW Collection Everybody's Wearing

What do you get when you mix 70’s fashion inspiration, classic silhouettes, structured tailoring a whimsical touch of zodiac sign personalization? The TOMMYxZendaya collection! Today, I’m wearing a head-to-toe look from Zendaya’s collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger… I’m especially obsessed with my Zodiac tee!

It can be a little tricky to pull off a full 70’s-inspired look without it looking too gimmicky, but I love how this collection is actually super wearable for every day! Bootcut jeans always look great when they’re done right (I love my bootcut jeans to be super long), and this simple t-shirt and jeans combo can be worn with the plaid blazer like I did… or the funky satin patterned one that’s a real head-turner!

One of the things I especially loved about the TOMMYxZENDAYA show was that it heavily featured women of color modeling the collection, and I thought it was such an important statement to make — especially at a time when diversity in the fashion space is a relevant issue. The show was also size-inclusive, featuring plus-size models as well… so this is truly a collection that was made for every woman. I’ve always been a fan of what Zendaya stands for, and her partnership with Tommy Hilfiger stayed true to her support of intersectional feminism — the belief that the women empowerment movement is truly made for EVERY woman!
